Adela Grillo was born in Havana, Cuba. Her inclination to Visual Arts begins with her parents as they were both art professors. She grew up surrounded by photographers, actors, painters, etc. As a young kid, she took drawing classes, acting, dance, and painting, but it wasn’t until 2005 she finally found her true passion in design when attending an opening at the ISDI in La Havana (Superior Institute of Design). In 2008 she moves with her family to the United States looking for a better future and the freedom she could never obtain in Cuba. Her education has been a priority in her life as she continues her studies in the art field. Adela has a strong commitment to her career, she is always up to experimentation and hopes to keep this as a constant factor through her work, as she prefers to grow with no labels or limits. She understands Design as a powerful network to connect people and a way to impact the community. Her motivation is always to create positive connections.
